London – Radiohead, the band that let fans choose what they would pay to download its last album, “In Rainbows,” has this time around set price points for downloads of its forthcoming new album, “The King of Limbs.” A 320Kbps-quality MP3 copy of the album will sell online for $9, while an uncompressed WAV version of the album will cost $14.
The band charged for both CD and vinyl copies of its last album, and will again offer several bundles of physical/digital product.
A double-vinyl, plus CD, plus MP3 album and related artwork bundle of “The King of Limbs” will cost $48, while the same package with WAV downloads will be priced at $53.
Digital versions of the album pre-ordered from the band’s website will become available for download on Feb. 19.
