Washington – SB Nation, a network of sports-related blogs,
announced on Thursday that it has acquired college sports blog network FanTake,
and The Offside, an international soccer network.
Financial terms of the
transactions were not disclosed.
Founded in 2003, Washington-based SB Nation
now operates a network of more than 300 mostly fan-penned sports blogs.

the fastest growing, highest quality and most engaging set of sports
communities on the web," said SB Nation co-founder Tyler Bleszinski.
