Paris – Total Immersion, the developer of a commercial
augmented reality platform, announced on Thursday that it has raised $5.5
million in a new funding round led by Intel Capital.

Previous backers Partech,
iSource and Elaia Partners also participated in the investment round, which
will be used for further product development and expansion into Asia and the
U.S.

Founded in 1999, Paris-based Total Immersion’s D’Fusion software platform
allows for the integration of real-time interactive 3D graphics into a live
video stream.
