London – The Oxford English Dictionary has added a number of
text message-inspired acronyms, including ‘OMG,’ ‘LOL,’ ‘IMHO,’ and ‘BFF,’ the
Associated Press reports.

The OED said, however, that the first recorded usage
of "OMG" was in a letter dated 1917.

Other interesting new entries
among the 900 entrants to OED include "muffin top," a
"protuberance of flesh above the waistband of a tight pair of trousers."
