Washington – The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)
announced on Friday that it has expanded grant opportunities to a new
"Arts in Media" category, which covers "all available media
platforms such as the Internet, interactive and mobile technologies, digital
games, arts content delivered via satellite, as well as on radio and television."
The NEA said grants between $10,000 and $200,000 are now available "to
support the development, production, and national distribution of innovative
media projects about the arts and media projects that can be considered works
of art." The application deadline for this year’s grants is September 1.
