San Francisco – Google’s YouTube has launched live closed
captioning for the live video feeds offered on the site by YouTube Live
partners, GigaOM reported. The service utilizes a team of human Computer Assisted
Realtime Transcription professionals, who input the text that is then
transmitted in real-time with the live video feed, which may then be translated
in real-time into other languages.
