San Francisco – A day after the company’s YouTube unit
launched a similar movie rental offering, Google announced on Tuesday the
launch of a cloud-based movie streaming service for its Android Market for
mobile devices. The service will rent films such as "Inception" and
"The King’s Speech" for $1.99, and allow consumers both to stream
them to Android devices, and download a copy to view when offline.
