Bangalore, India – Sourcebits, a provider of consumer and
enterprise mobile app development services, announced on Wednesday that it has
raised $10 million in funding, from Sequoia Capital and IDG Ventures.
India-based Sourcebits counts 300 engineers and designers, who have developed
over 300 apps to date for iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, Palm Pre and Windows 7
mobile platforms.
The company will use the funds to set up engineering and
sales centers in the U.S., and expand its design engineering team in India and
Europe.
