Tokyo – Sony has announced plans to release a new line of “PSP Remaster” games, which will see titles originally developed for the company’s PSP handheld system given high-definition graphics and new features, and reissued for the PlayStation 3.

Gamers will be able to utilized saved PSP game data for the PS3 version, and continue to play a Remaster title either on PSP or at home on the PS3.

The first PSP Remaster title, set for release in Japan, will be Capcom’s “Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD.”
