Tokyo – Sony (NYSE: SNE) said on Tuesday that it has discovered a security breach at its music entertainment site in Greece, which may have exposed consumer data, the Associated Press reported.

The company has shuttered the site and is investigating the incident, during which names, phone numbers and email addresses of 8,500 user accounts may have been stolen, Sony spokesman Shigenori Yoshida told AP.

The company said that credit card numbers were affected.

The security breach comes after Sony said Monday that a hacker attack on its PlayStation Network, Qriocity and other services last month will cost the company $170 million.
