Los Angeles – TriOviz, a developer of 2D to 3D conversion technology for displaying movies and video games on television, said on Tuesday that it has raised $1 million in funding from France’s Parness Innov.

France-based TriOviz said its technology, and 3D glasses are compatible with the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, video-on-demand, DVD, Blu-ray and broadcast television.

The company’s technology has been used to power titles including “Batman Arkham Asylum,” “Enslaved” and “Thor.”

TriOviz will use the funds in part to expand into the U.S.
