Reston, Va. – App47, a developer of mobile application management tools, said on Wednesday it has emerged from stealth mode after landing a $1 million investment from Valhalla Partners.

The Reston, Va.-based company also said it plans to release the first version of its namesake product later this month, following a beta test in May.

The technology provides analytics and performance data to assist in the design, deployment, configuration and security of mobile apps.

App47 founders Chris Schroeder and Sean McDemott earlier founded RealOps, which was acquired by BMC Software in 2007.
