Palo Alto, Calif. — Facebook is now home to over 750 million active monthly users, TechCrunch reported, citing sources close to the company.
The multi-billion dollar social networking company counted 687 million users earlier this month.
A spokesperson for the company said Friday that they had nothing to announce at this time. It is believed that the company is waiting until they reach 1 billion users before officially announcing an update to their active user number.
The last time Facebook made an official announcement about their active user base was in July 2004 when they reached 500 million monthly users.
