San Francisco — Zynga’s “Empires and Allies” social game has exceeded 39 million users in 25 days, passing the company’s successful “Farmville” numbers, Venture Beat reported, citing market analyst AppData.

The social game company which gained attention after “Farmville” attracted millions of active users on Facebook, has set a new record with “Empires and Allies” — one of the fastest growing games in history.

AppData reported that the game is gaining one million users a day and nearly 8 million a week — helping to grow Zynga from 249 million active monthly users two weeks ago to 269 million.
