As if women on TV didn’t already involve enough augmented reality, a new promotional campaign from NBC and Bloomingdale’s uses GoldRun V2 to enable anyone and everyone to have their picture taken with stars from The Playboy Club and other programs from NBC’s fall season lineup.

Ambassadors in all 44 Bloomingdale’s stores will offer to photograph shoppers using iPads loaded with GoldRun’s app. In addition to the aforementioned Bunnies (example photo shown), fans can choose to pose with virtual actors from Whitney, Free Agents, Prime Suspect with Maria Bello, and Up All Night featuring Christina Applegate, Maya Rudolph and Will Arnett. They also can download the app to their own devices and take as many photos as they want.

Customers also can enter a contest to win gift cards, a set visit in Los Angeles or a trip to Chicago with a walk-on role in NBC’s The Playboy Club.

The joint campaign, which runs through Sept. 26, also involves actors from the NBC shows being featured in Bloomingdale’s catalogs, and NBC’s Primetime Preview Show was set partly in a Bloomingdale’s store.

GoldRun previously worked with the network on a promotion for NBC’s Today show, in which fans could have their photo taken with a virtual Today branded umbrella like those used by the hosts when filming live outside of the studio on Rockefeller Plaza.
