Lady Gaga (pictured left), Usher, Kenny Chesney, Juanes, U2’s The Edge and Bono, and other famous musicians are set to perform tomorrow in a concert to benefit The William J. Clinton Foundation. The concert, which takes place at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, will be produced by Control Room and webcast live exclusively by Yahoo! globally at 10 p.m. ET/7 pm PT.

The online program will include highlights and interviews with the artists and other guests, during and after the live event on October 15. Viewers also will be able to access the show on demand, and they’ll be encouraged to make a financial contribution via Yahoo! at the dedicated site, http://clintonconcert.yahoo.com

“I am proud that some of today’s most influential performers are coming together to raise awareness about the work of my Foundation,” Clinton (pictured, below right) said in a statement. “In the past decade, commitments to my Clinton Global Initiative have improved the lives of more than 300 million people around the world. We’ve lowered the cost of AIDS and HIV treatment, combated climate change, strengthened economies, increased access to education and healthcare, provided financing and mentoring for small businesses. This celebration marks ten years of these efforts and demonstrates how much we can do to make a difference in the years ahead.”

Yahoo! further supported A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation by donating $1 for every entry it received to the sweepstakes that gave away tickets, up to $50,000.

“We believe music has the power to transcend cultural, language and geographic barriers to bring people together around issues and solutions facing our global community,” Aaron Grosky, executive producer for Control Room, said in a statement.

Ross Levinsohn, executive vice president Americas, Yahoo!, said it was an honor for Yahoo! to support the work of the Clinton Foundation and to be part of this special event.

The William J. Clinton Foundation has helped nearly 4 million people receive lifesaving HIV/AIDS treatment; 12,000 U.S. schools build healthier learning environments; 26,000 small-business owners and smallholder farmers improve their livelihoods and communities; and reduce 2.2 million tons of greenhouse gases in major cities.

  1. Absolutely enjoy everything about Gaga. The best of this generation. Amazing!! True artist. No-one writes and actually sings these years. She is the exception in music.
