Washington, DC – LivingSocial, the DC-based daily deals company, said it has signed an exclusive agreement with Clear Channel Radio to showcase its deals on more than 500 radio stations in 90 U.S. cities.
Each day, local radio personalities will describe the LivingSocial daily deal for their market, which also will be accessible through Clear Channel station websites.
Clear Channel also will feature other LivingSocial offerings, including LivingSocial Escapes and Adventures packages, across its media platforms. ”
Radio stations are a primary means for people to find entertainment and learn what’s going on in their communities,” said Tim O’Shaughnessy, the co-founder and CEO of LivingSocial. “This matches perfectly with LivingSocial’s mission.” Clear Channel owns more than 40 stations in Maryland, Virginia and DC.
