Ortsbo.com, which describes itself as a real-time conversational translator, will host a two-part Live & Global event from the red carpet and backstage at this year’s Orange Amplification Classic Rock Roll Of Honour show. The event is being held in London on Nov. 9 and will be hosted by Ortsbo spokesman and partner, Kiss bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons.

The first part of the web event will be from the red carpet and arrivals area beginning at 18:00 GMT, with a second part starting at 21:15 GMT from a press area after the awards show. Fans will be able to ask questions in up to 53 different languages, with Ortsbo.com providing real-time translation into English. The question is answered in English, and the technology translates it into the language of the original question.

This year the Classic Rock Roll Of Honour will recognize Jeff Beck with its annual Living Legend award. Previous honorees include Jimmy Page, Lemmy (from Motorhead), Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop and Ozzy Osbourne. Scheduled to appear and/or perform are Brian May, Chrissie Hynde, Duff McKagan, Ian Anderson, Pete Townshend, Peter Frampton, Randy Bachman and Roger Daltrey, in addition to Beck and Simmons.
