Fanhattan has added Crackle, Lifetime and PBS content to the collection of streaming content it makes available through its free app. They join existing content partners Netflix, HuluPlus, iTunes, ABC and Vudu on the increasingly popular service.

Fanhattan’s Charles Mattel shared the news on the company’s blog: “Our goal at Fanhattan is to help you quickly discover and dive deep with all of the amazing entertainment spread across your favorite online watering holes. With the addition of these awesome services today, your ability to uncover a wealth of free – and in some cases exclusive – content through Fanhattan just got a whole lot stronger.”

Crackle, which is nominally part of Sony Pictures, offers free full-length television shows, feature movies, and original web content. Among the titles currently being featured are Donnie Brasco, The International, Resident Evil, and from television, Seinfeld.

Lifetime brings to the service shows including Project Accessory, How I Met Your Mother (pictured), The New Adventures of Old Christine and The Protector.

PBS series worth highlighting that are now viewable on Fanhattan are Nova, Antiques Roadshow, The American Experience, and selected episodes of Austin City Limits.

Fanhattan for iOS also allows trailers and clips, cast and crew bios, movie tickets, soundtracks and merchandise, and other related features like reviews from Rotten Tomatoes. Its investors include NEA, Redpoint Ventures, Greycroft Partners, BV Capital, and independent individuals.
