Lots of bands play corporate gigs over the holidays, but today at 3 p.m. ET Daughtry is taking it online where anyone – even non-employees – can watch the performance. The live show is hosted by Duracell, so fans have to access it via the company’s Facebook page.

Daughtry will be playing an acoustic set of songs from Break the Spell, the band’s latest album, along with holiday favorites.

Duracell’s interests in sponsoring the show go beyond the spirit of gift-giving, of course. The page also includes the company’s Holiday Insurance Program, a collection of free and unique content, advice from toy experts, hourly toy giveaways access to toy reviews from real kids, and naturally reminding everyone how many of presents require batteries.

“Through the Duracell Holiday Insurance Program, we are providing parents with the tools they need to create an unforgettable holiday for their families,” said Volker Kuhn, general manager for Duracell North America said in a statement. “We’ve created the virtual Facebook concert with Daughtry, to give families a chance to come together and enjoy all this magical season has to offer.”
