Fox Digital Entertainment will debut Wolfpack of Reseda, a new original unscripted series, on Thursday via a customized environment on Myspace.

The eight-episode series was developed in partnership with Kia Motors America.

Mixing the comedy found in everyday office life with some elements of supernatural horror, Wolfpack of Reseda is based on the life of an average guy whose life transforms when he becomes convinced he’s been bitten by a werewolf in Reseda, a typical Los Angeles suburb in the San Fernando Valley.

Myspace is the exclusive ad-supported distributor of the show, and will promote the series throughout its platform.

Wolfpack exemplifies the kind of storytelling and distribution that is ideal for the current digital media landscape,” said Matt Glotzer, senior vice president, Fox Digital Entertainment. “We are very excited to be working closely with Kia and Myspace to bring this original and darkly hilarious story to a broad audience on a wide variety of platforms.”

Roger Mincheff, the new president of Myspace Entertainment, said this was the first in a “growing slate of must-watch programming” that Myspace intends to be a hallmark of the company’s reviving fortunes.  “The great, up-and-coming talent behind Wolfpack is the perfect complement to the Myspace platform, where compelling, original content will be a point of distinction,” he said.
