IGN reports: “Apple recently acquired Mira, a tech startup specializing in augmented reality hardware. As reported by The Verge, Apple has purchased the AR startup. The outlet first spotted the news from the Mira CEO’s private Instagram account before Apple officially confirmed it acquired the company. “Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time, and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans,” the company said in a statement sent to The Verge.”
