Music Business Worldwide reports: “Create Music Group has acquired again. The company, which was valued at $1 billion following a $165-million investment round last year, has swooped for independent electronic music label Monstercat. As part of the deal, Create said it has committed to investing an additional $50 million over the next two years in artist development, advances, and platform support across Monstercat’s roster, “to accelerate both new signings and long-term career growth”.”
