Music Ally reports: “Remember Rythm? You might not if you weren’t spending much time on messaging platform Discord in 2021. Rythm was the most popular music bot on the service, installed on more than 20m Discord servers as a way for people to listen to music together. The problem? That music came from YouTube, and in September 2021 a cease-and-desist order from the latter forced Rythm to shut down, shortly after another popular music bot called Groovy met the same fate.”
