Rythm was the most popular music bot on the service, installed on more than 20m Discord servers as a way for people to listen to music together. The problem? That music came from YouTube, and in September 2021 a cease-and-desist order from the latter forced Rythm to shut down, shortly after another popular music bot called Groovy met the same fate.”
