New York – The Black Eyed Peas’ "I Gotta Feeling"
has become the first digital single to pass six million paid downloads, the
group’s label Interscope Geffen A&M said.
"The E.N.D.," the album
on which the song appears, has yielded five top ten hits, and itself sold 7.33
million copies across all platforms since its release in June 2009.
Total
digital single sales from the album in the U.S. are over 18 million.
