New York – Communications and marketing firm Engine USA
announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Deep Focus, a New York-based
interactive marketing agency.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded
in 2002, Deep Focus has developed online marketing campaigns for clients
including Microsoft, Nintendo, AMC, ESPN and Samsung.

Engine USA is a unit of
London-based Engine Group, which was founded in 2005.

Last week, Engine
announced a $100 million investment from an affiliate of investment firm H.I.G.
Capital, which it will use for growth across the U.S., China, Brazil and
Europe.

"We expect the acquisition of Deep Focus to be the precursor to
further acquisitions as we recreate this highly successful Engine model outside
our home market of the UK," said Engine USA chairman Peter Scott.
