Tokyo – Sony (NYSE: SNE) Computer Entertainment announced on Monday that
it has now shipped more than 150 million units of its PlayStation 2 console,
since the device’s launch in 2000. More than 10,800 game titles are available
for the platform, and 1.52 billion PS2 games have been sold worldwide through
the end of 2010.
