New York – Collective, a provider of video ad services, said
on Thursday that it has acquired Oggifinogi, the developer of an online video
advertising platform.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Bellevue,
Wash.-based Oggifinogi counts more than 100 clients, including Bing, Best Buy,
Sony and Paramount.
The company said its video ad network reaches over 150
million unique users across 2,500 publisher sites.
"This acquisition
enables us to bring the right mix of art and science to brand advertisers,
especially as they rethink their television advertising budget and look to
online to complement their broadcast and cable ad spend," said Collective
CEO Joe Apprendi.
Oggifinogi raised $2 million in financing last fall, from
Greycroft Partners, iNovia Capital and Contour Venture Partners.
