New York – AOL on Friday announced its third hire in as many
months for its MapQuest online mapping unit. The company named Vijay Bangaru as
MapQuest’s vice president of product management. Bangaru, who will focus on
mapping and location-based services, most recently headed product development
for Google Docs and Google Apps. Denver-based MapQuest also recently named
Patrick McDevitt as its vice president of engineering and Anke Corbin as its
vice president of marketing.
