New York – Blog network Gawker Media has acquired the online broadcast rights to a Japanese reality TV show, and will air episodes of the program on its Kotaku games site, All Things D reports.
Kotaku will offer new streaming episodes of “Retro Game Master” — a cult show that has been dubbed into English — weekly, and then archive episodes for on-demand viewing.
Gawker has reportedly not yet sold advertising against the show, which it considers an experiment with full-length video programming.
