Washington, DCRevolution Messaging, a DC-based provider of mobile strategy and technology services, on Tuesday named Arun Chaudhary, the former official White House videographer for the Obama administration, as its senior vice president of communications.

Chaudhary began his work for Obama when he documented the 2008 Obama for America campaign as new media road director, guiding the team responsible for capturing the day-to-day life of the future president in video and stills. He then became the first-ever White House videographer, creating West Wing Week, the first online video diary of the White House.

In his new role, Chaudhary will be responsible for developing clients’ digital and television plans, training political operatives on constructing messaging for their campaigns, as well as continuing to make videos for clients.
