Spotify is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of its discovery and listening experience, based in New York, New York. In this role, you’ll define and drive the long-term product vision for how users explore and decide what to play, shaping key surfaces such as Home, Browse, and Search to create seamless, personalized discovery journeys. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and data science teams to build scalable recommendation and discovery systems, connecting user intent, editorial context, and personalization into an intuitive experience for millions of listeners. You’ll also leverage data, experimentation, and user insights to reduce friction and continuously improve engagement, while influencing product roadmaps across multiple teams and mentoring other product leaders. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of product management experience, deep expertise in discovery, search, or personalization systems, and a proven ability to lead complex, consumer-facing products at scale. This role offers a salary range of $182,309–$260,441, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
