Mountain View,

Google (NASD: GOOG) has released an
experimental application for its Android mobile device platform, which allows
users to perform "Gesture Search" on the devices by drawing letters
of the alphabet on the screen with a finger. For example, if a user drew the
letter "A" on the phone, Android would return generate a list of
contacts and other items in the phone beginning with that letter.
