Espoo, Finland – Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is developing a
tablet computer that is expected to begin selling later this year, Reuters
reported, citing Rodmand and Renshaw analyst Ashok Kumar. "You don’t want
to give that much of a lead to Apple because it otherwise becomes
insurmountable. Right now the supply chain is being primed up for a fall
release. It has to be on the shelf by September-October to meet demand for the
holiday window," Kumar wrote. Analysts speculate that the Nokia tablet
would run either Microsoft’s Windows, or the MeeGo operating system.
