– Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) and Google (NASD: GOOG) are collaborating on the development of an
Android-powered tablet computer, The Wall Street Journal reported.

"We’re
looking at all the things Google has in its archives that we could put on a
tablet to make it a great experience," Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam
told The Journal.

Both companies declined to comment on the project, or provide
details on timing or a manufacturing partner for the device.
