Octoshape, a provider of video delivery technology for fixed and mobile
networks, has raised $4.8 million in new financing from Nexit Ventures.
Denmark-based Octoshape’s Infinite Edge technology is used by broadcasters and
content delivery networks to deliver video online.
The system has powered live
video events including President Obama’s inauguration, Michael Jackson’s
funeral, and the Eurovision Song Contest.
