Calif. – Facebook has released
new version of its iPhone application that lets users watch videos posted by
their friends directly on the smartphone, NewTeeVee reports. The service is
likely looking to boost the average number of videos viewed by its users per
month, which currently stands at 5.6 — compared to YouTube (96 videos) and
Hulu (24.7 videos), according to comScore.
