Norfolk, Va. – BN Media, the investor group behind nonprofit
content site Cross Bridge and affinity marketer Affinity4, said that it has
acquired New York-based spirituality site Beliefnet from owner News Corp.

terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition builds on an existing
partnership between Beliefnet and Affinity4.

"In our strategic planning,
our long-term vision was to become a positive influence on our world,
supporting nonprofits in their missions and providing uplifting content and
programming," said Joseph Gregory, the chairman of BN Media.

"Beliefnet’s mission is very complementary."
