New York – Electronics and media retail store chain Best Buy (NYSE: BBY)
plans to begin offering a mobile broadband data plan to customers, providing Sprint (NYSE: S)
3G coverage to purchasers of mobile Web devices in its stores, The Wall Street
Journal reported.
The Best Buy Connect service will reportedly provide 250 MB
of data per month for $29.99, or 5 GB per month for $59.99.
It is set to launch
on July 11 in the majority of Best Buy’s stores.
