Los Angeles – Video-sharing site Vimeo has added the ability
for video uploaders to offer Creative Commons licenses for their videos.
Producers will still retain the copyright for their works, but may allow others
to re-distribute, remix them or use them for new commercial or non-commercial
works. Vimeo noted that the new licensing options aren’t "a pass to
redistribute other users’ videos on Vimeo.com."
