Waterloo, Ontario – Research in Motion (NASD: RIMM) on Tuesday introduced
its latest BlackBerry smartphone model, the Torch, as well as its new
BlackBerry 6 operating system.

The Torch, which will cost $199 with a two-year
contract, features a touch-screen display in addition to a slide-out QWERTY
keyboard.

Other features include a 5-megapixel camera, 4GB of flash memory, a
4GB MicroSD card, and a feature that lets users sync their iTunes or Windows
Media Player libraries.
