New York – Satellite TV provider DirecTV (NYSE: DTV) on Tuesday
announced an advertising partnership with Google (NASD: GOOG), whereby Google will sell ads
on several cable networks carried on the service, which counts 18.7 million
subscribers.

Google TV Ads will now be offered to advertisers who wish to reach
DirecTV viewers on Bloomberg, Fox Business, Centric, Fuel, G4, Current,
Ovation, Fit, Sleuth, Chiller and TV Guide network.

Google said that with the
new deal, Google TV Ads customers can now reach up to 30 million satellite
households, through both DirecTV and existing partnerships.
