Basking Ridge, N.J. – Verizon (NYSE: VZ) plans to release an application
for Apple’s (NASD: AAPL) iPad that will enable subscribers to its FiOS digital TV service to
view live TV on the devices. The app is expected to launch early next year,
after Verizon secures deals with content partners for the mobile streaming
feature.
