Shanghai – Chinese video-sharing website Tudou said on
Thursday that it has partnered with ad giant Publicis Groupe’s VivaKi unit to
test a new video ad format that lets users select their preferred ad before
watching a program. VivaKi’s AdSelector format has already been implemented by
Hulu and others in the U.S. Tudou says around 80% of those already exposed to
AdSelector on its site responded positively.
