Santa Monica, Calif. – Total Beauty Media, a publisher of female lifestyle websites, announced on Friday that it has acquired LimeLife.com, a multi-platform female lifestyle and celebrity news site, and operator of a social shopping service.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2004, San Francisco-based LimeLife has to date raised over $20 million in venture capital, from backers including U.S. Venture Partners, Rustic Canyon Partners, Core Capital Partners, Monitor Ventures, and i-Hatch Ventures.
Santa Monica-based Total Beauty Media says its network of sites reaches over 3 million unique monthly visitors, while its mobile sites are visited by 2 million monthly.
