London – Virgin Media will launch a new mobile music
download service this weekend, Billboard reported. Powered by IMImobile DaVinci
Music, the Virgin Music Media Store will offer 1 million tracks licensed from
three of the four major labels — Universal has not signed on so far — with
more tracks to be added in coming months. Existing Virgin Media mobile customers
will pay about $4.65 per month for five song downloads, while non-subscribers
pay $6.20
