Helsinki, Finland – Blyk, a provider of mobile advertising
technology, announced on Monday that it has raised $21.9 million in new
financing, led by Nexit Ventures.

Founded in 2006, Helsinki-based Blyk’s mobile
ad technology utilizes interactive text and multimedia messaging,
"leveraging the most predominant behavior of young people and enabling
young people to communicate with brands in the same way they do with everyone
else."

The company has partnerships with Orange in the U.K. and Vodafone
in the Netherlands, and plans soon to launch commercially in India.
