San Francisco – TuneUp, the developer of an organization
tool for digital music collections, announced on Wednesday that it has raised
$4.3 million in a third round of financing.

IDG Ventures led the investment
round; previous backer KPG Ventures also participated.

Founded in 2007, San
Francisco-based TuneUp counts over 1.5 million registered users of its service,
which has to date cleaned over 1.2 billion mislabeled music tracks — filling
in missing album art and metadata.
