New York – Online DVD rental service Netflix (NASD:  NFLX) announced on
Friday a new deal with NBC Universal (NYSE:  GE), which will bring episodes of TV shows
from NBC, USA Network and Syfy to the company’s streaming video service for
subscribers. The deal includes hundreds of past episodes of "Saturday
Night Live," in addition to day-after-broadcast streaming through 2012, as
well as "30 Rock," "The Office" and "Law & Order:
SVU."

Also available on Netflix will be USA Network’s "Psych"
and "Monk," and more than 75 episodes of Syfy’s "Battlestar
Galactica."

"This agreement adds meaningfully to the wide variety of
content that can be streamed from Netflix and breaks new ground in our
relationship with NBC Universal," said Ted Sarandos, chief content officer
for Netflix.
