Atlanta – Concurrent (NASD: CCUR), a provider of video-on-demand systems,
announced that it has acquired TellyTopia, a firm helping pay-TV operators
incorporate Web video into their services.
Financial terms of the transaction
were not disclosed.
"TellyTopia’s next-generation, cloud-based video
delivery solution directly aligns with Concurrent’s strategy of delivering
innovative commercial-grade video solutions that can generate incremental
revenue and enable development of innovative new business models," said Concurrent
president and CEO Dan Mondor.
Atlanta-based Concurrent’s platform serves over
38 million digital subscribers.
